Since then, people were forced to stay home and public transport drivers and operators were deeply affected financially by the cease of their operations.
The good news is Pres. Duterte nodded the resume of public transport services after the majority of the cities and provinces in the Philippines were put under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). Earlier in June, the LTFRB released notices that will allow a few routes for specific utility vehicles gradually.
E-JEEP
On June 22, LTFRB announced that they will start to allow e-jeeps to resume operations.Here are the allowed routes of e-jeeps in Pasig:
- PASIG - BAGUMBAYAN
- ROSARIO - PINAGBUHATAN
- PASIG - ANTIPOLO

The only route given to our city is PASIG to MARIKINA vv.
BUS
Buses were the first to allow to be back on the road. Since most of them takes EDSA to transport, our city doesn't benefit that much.The only route we have is PASIG - KALENTONG vv.
UV EXPRESS
We have a lot UV Express line in Pasig but none of them were allowed to be back yet. Most of the UV Express routes given were from the nearby provinces such as Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal - all are entry points to Metro Manila.TRICYCLES
Meanwhile, all tricycles were approved to operate not only in our city but nationwide. But it only allows ONE passenger per unit.All of these utility vehicles should follow guidelines mandated by LTFRB - mainly social distancing.
