The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is set to launch its Cash-for-Work Program specifically designed for graduates and students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) under the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) initiative.
The event will take place on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 12:30 PM in the PLP Auditorium. Attendees are required to bring school ID, Certificate of Registration, any government ID and to wear blue, white, or red polo shirt.
The orientation program will provide an overview of the Cash-for-Work Program, which aims to offer financial support in exchange for community service. This initiative is part of DSWD's efforts to alleviate poverty and improve social welfare through temporary employment opportunities that benefit local communities.
Applicants are required to attend the event and are requested to wear blue, white, or red polo shirts. They must bring their school ID, Certificate of Registration, or any government ID for verification purposes.
By participating in this program, PLP graduates and students will not only earn a livelihood but also contribute to the development and enhancement of their communities. The DSWD encourages all eligible individuals to seize this opportunity and be part of this impactful initiative.
