President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared July 2 as a special non-working day in Pasig City to celebrate the 451st Araw ng Pasig.
The declaration was made official through Proclamation No. 612, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on June 29, 2024, by the authority of the President.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Pasig be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” President Marcos stated in the proclamation.
The special non-working holiday aims to allow Pasig residents to fully participate in various activities planned for the city’s anniversary celebration.
The 451st Araw ng Pasig is expected to feature cultural events, parades, and community gatherings, reflecting the city's rich history and vibrant community spirit.
